On Sunday mornings you'll hear a sermon on one of twenty-six topics like "God the only Cause and Creator," or "Christ Jesus." These sermons are different every week and are drawn from Bible citations and corresponding passages found in Science and Health (see video below). The sermon is published beforehand and is available in the Christian Science Quarterly. This enables attendees to study the passages more thoroughly to gain their deeper spiritual meaning. In addition to hymns and other contemplative music, the congregation prays together silently and aloud. A collection is taken near the end of the service.
Our Wednesday testimony meeting is a joyful and refreshing midweek pick-me-up. Thoughtful readings on a variety of topics, taken from the Bible and Science and Health, are presented to address and heal issues in the community and the world, and are unique to each Christian Science church. Following a hymn, those attending are invited to share their gratitude for inspiration or insights, or for healing and spiritual growth which has occurred as a result of prayer. There is no collection taken.
Anyone may attend our services, and all are welcome.
